Event:  Groundwater Levels Strawman Proposal Public Discussion

Groundwater Level Sustainability Indicator: Strawman Proposal

The Vina Groundwater Sustainability Agency has posted a strawman proposal on groundwater levels for stakeholder and public review. The proposal is part of the ongoing Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Periodic Evaluation and GSP Amendments process.

The memo provides background, summarizes new data and stakeholder input received to date, and presents a preliminary approach for discussion. A strawman proposal is a starting point, not a final recommendation. It's intended to be refined through collaborative engagement before anything goes to the Board for consideration.

The proposal was developed in response to the California Department of Water Resources' Recommended Corrective Actions related to groundwater levels.
