The Vina Groundwater Sustainability Agency has posted a new memo and strawman proposal for stakeholder review regarding the approach to addressing Interconnected Surface Water (ISW) as part of the upcoming Groundwater Sustainability Plan Periodic Evaluation and potential Plan amendments.

The memo provides relevant background, summarizes new information and stakeholder input received to date, and presents a preliminary strawman approach for discussion. The intent is to support continued public and stakeholder input as the GSAs consider how to respond to the Department of Water Resources’ Recommended Corrective Actions related to Interconnected Surface Water.

An informal public discussion via a webinar will be held on Thursday, May 21st, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm to provide an opportunity for open conversation and participants to share feedback on the strawman proposal.
